I took delivery of my new D70 yesterday. Big smiles all around!

I can't wait to start shooting - I'm giddy!

Cheers!

Kevin

Congrats on the new arrival! :G

I know I could not wait for the battery to charge up for the first time when I got my dslr home. Gave me time to look at the manual all shiny in its shrink wrap though. :-)

EDIT: hay I just noticed everyone in the thread so far is in Ontario

I know EXACTLY how you feel - I got mine 5 days ago.

WARNING!! That little monitor cover WILL FALL OFF sooner or later and that cost $$$.

take some fishing line and thread it through the little hole and then to the strap or something!

I haven't had it fall off... but you can buy a PDA screen protector and replace it.. and it looks a little better.

Mine fell off in the woods. Next day I back tracked and found it. Can't belive I was lucky enought to find it. It now has a string holding it to the strap loop.
