Has anybody taken this class?

I am contemplating taking it early Jan. My only concerns is that the class could be not advanced enough ( I am only an amateur, but because of this site, I amless and less of one...). Will appreciate your views.

I have attended the regular Nikon School seminar and it was excellent. I am certain that the digital version will be equally as good. Take lots of notes as they cover a lot of material in a short time. Take your camera along, not for the class but to shoot pictures during the break!

When I took the class, they gave out a photography handbook which has tons of good information in it. It is worth the cost of the class to get that book. You can't purchase it separately.

Good luck and "Try it, you'll like it!"

I have a Canon, I won't bring mine.. I just want the Nikon people to teach me the tricks I haven't figuredout yet..

Thanks for the comment on the class though!

FD, you don't have to own a Nikon camera to take the class. I am sure you won't be banished from the group if you show up with your Canon. The techniques are the same, regardless of the hardware.

Hi,

I took the Nikon Digital 201 class in May of this year. It was awesome! I learned so much about work flow that it has really enhanced the hobby for me. It was 8 hours of lecture and I never got bored!

They do a great job of demostrating the pros and cons of each file type, etc. and teach some basic Photoshop techniques. I highly recommend it!!!

Don't bother to take a camera unless you want to take pics of the class...

Happy Holidays!

They teach them all over the country, usually in two day schedules. Check out www.nikonusa.com
