I'm new to close up work and have a question. I have a Nikon D70 and would like to connect it to a small TV to view my products. Can I leave the TV connected to the D70 while I'm taking pictures so I can view each shoot or do I have to disconnect the EG-D100 cable before each shoot?

Thanks in advance,

cbl

The D70's video output is the same as to its color LCD so yes, you can leave it connected all the time if desired. When using the video cable it simply routes the screen display to a TV instead of the camera's LCD. You can NOT preview however, you can only review pictures already taken and stored.

This is or was the question I guess. I am doing closeups from overhead and without using a ladder it's hard to see viewer sometimes and I still don't always get it the first time.

Thanks again,

cbl
