I'm wondering if anyone knows about the Sigma EF-500 DG ST
flash, and how it compares with the Nikon brands? :?

Don't know anything about it or even if it will work fully with the D70.

I do know the the EF-500 DG Super NA iTTL works fine with the D70, works remotely as well.

Had great fun with it New Year's eve.

Only the EF500 DG Super NA i-TTL model is compatible with the D series and D70. Check the bottom of this page.
