Thought I would pass this on for those considering purchasing the D70. As this camera is still young to me, it still thrills me each time I find something that sells me more even after I purchased it already. As I shot 2 photos with flash, one on auto WB, and the other on flash WB, I found a very exceptable margin of error with the photo shot on auto WB. But as I shot on flash WB the colors as you see them are precise. Its like I stuck my head thru the lens and saw the actual picture. Fascinating.

My experience is that the auto WB does an OK job but selecting the right WB option for the conditions always produces a better result. The shade and cloudy settings are very good for outdoor pics when the sun is not blazing in in sky and a big improvement on auto.
