I recall an old thread where Steve had set the white balance for a photo another poster put up. The thread was started by a guy who regulary takes photos of custom/refurbished cars in his shop - he posted because he had several different lights and had tried several different cameras to get decent photos.

If anyone can find this thread OR provide some information about setting white balance for D70 photos in Photoshop CS, please do so.

I want/need to know how this is done. There's some sort of download from nikon involved if I'm not mistaken...

I want/need to know how this is done. There's some sort of download from nikon involved if I'm not mistaken...
you'll need the latest camera raw plugin for photoshop to be able to import the NEF (raw) files of the D70.
when opening them a window will pop up which will let you adjust almost everything like the white balance / color temperature / tint / exposure / color adjustements and so on.
