My friend and I both upgraded our d70s to the latest B1.03 firmware and noticed the change of portrait shots: theskin color becomes dull and skewed (both under the sun or indoor), less details are revealed, and highlights are more easily burned out.

I wonder if anybody has experienced the same.

Note the shots are taken with S or A mode, recorded in RAW, and the image quality is set to custom: everthing default and the color space is Ia.

Thanks. --tgl

This is just a general observation. Iwas much more satisfied after reversing the B firmware back to 1.02.

How did you revert back to B firmware 1.02?
