The diopter adjustment goes to -1.6.

I am -2.25 and -2.5.

Does anyone have experience with the Nikon optional diopter adjustment lenses for the D70?

How about if I just wear my glasses and press them up to the rubber? I tried this, but depending on the amount of zooming in I do with the kit 18-70 lens, I have to keep readjusting the camera diopter slider to get a clear picture in the viewfinder.

I'm wondering if such continual adjustments would be made unnecessary by buying an adjustment lens?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Try taking the rubber thingy off so your eyeglass lens is closer to the viewfinder.
