http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...e=6222&q=1
$829.95
If you look at the main page it say $899.99. But if you click on the link, it will give you the new special price. It even tells you on the main page to click on the link to see the lower price.

I would suggest you read the reviews of the kit lens before you comment. Obviously you have not.

You are obviously thinking about the Canon kit lens and not the Nikon!

I have several Nikon camera N80, N90, both with lens kit. The lens that come with it is junk. I end up getting the 24-120mm and the 70-300mm to use instead.

I'm happy that you have several (two) Nikons. I'm sure they are wonderful cameras. But with out seeing or using a lens how can you justify saying it's junk? Seriously, read the reviews and better yet try one for yourself.

That is why I said, Kit "usually" have junk lens.

N80, N90, 6006, FM2, F2...I actually had 5 cameras to be exact. All of which was purchased through a "Kit" deal.

All of which the extra lens being unused and go on ebay or saved to be resold with the camera.

24-120m lens is good

18-105 lens is good

70-300 lens is okay

the one that come with the kit usually 18-70 or 24-80, "usually" junk.
