I'm looking for a second battery for my d2x. I gonna buy real nikon batt. How about the other brand I saw in B&H such as Power-2000cost is only half of real nikon EL4. Should I try this one?

Thanks in advance

I have three EN-EL3's from Power 2000 for my D100, and two EN-EL4's from Nikon. I'll probably pick up a third EN-EL4 from Power 2000.

Hi marokero.. thanks for your answer. I'm new here.

Um.. Howgood of Power2000-EL3 for D100 when compare with the real nikon EL3.

Does it have a long life as real nikon EL3? Maybe I will try Power2000 for EL4

They last a bit more than the Nikon batteries in my experience, the Power 2000 having a 1500mAh rating compared to Nikon's 1400mAh EN-EL3. But I'm not sure if the Power 2000 will have the same level of communication with D2h/x when it comes to acertaining the exact ammount of charge left in the battery, need for calibration, or monitoring its useful life.

Thanks, and I change my mind to buy nikon EL4. I hope that the function come with that battery is useful when compare with power2000.
