Hi All,

I'm a true newbieand just purchased this camera for my father. It just arrived and I took some test shots. Things look good but I have a concern. I notice when I invert the camera I hear something that sounds like a 'loose spring'. I discribe it this way because it sounds like what ever makes that sound its still attached to something. At first I thought maybe I was just being sensitive and suspected the flash filamen.

Could other owners shed some light if this is normal. I have 10days to return from a reputable online authorized retailer.

Thankyou

Ray

I think it's just the mirror flapping a bit... Basedon hearing my own camera, I don't think anything's wrong.

there's also a seonsor inside the body which decets wheather the cam is held vertical or horizontal. I can also hear that with my D70 (non-S) and it seems to be normal.
