I'm looking for galleries to see how well the Nikon D50 and Sigma (Bigma) 50-500 team up- anyone know of any galleries or sample images with that [email protected]

there are more than a couple of Nikon guys who own this lens on the dpreview.com forum / maybe you should post your inquiry there.

I own that lens, it's a fine lens. It's a peculiar question. If a camera works well with one lens it will work well with ANY lens, assumiing a good lens. You don't ask about the Nikon D50 and this lens, rather you should review the lens and camera separately.

I guess he is not assuming the 50-500 is a good lens - I believe he is trying to figure it out......

I have the Bigma DG version. I use it with my D70 and am very happy with it. I will suggest that if you don't have a good quality, sturdy tripod, get one before you get the 50-500. It is a wonderful lens, but it is large. Itcaptures qualiltyphotos with any camera it fits. Woody
