Welcome to the club everyone!

I have the old D50 owners, and D50's great price, to thank for helping me make my decision.

I had actually purchased the RebXT, but changed my mind. I'm glad I did. As you can see from my avatar, I even have a Nikon-Yellow sweatshirt that I use when out taking pictures. That sweatshirt keeps me visible to drivers when I pull over on the side of the road to take pics. And one of these days, it'll help search-and-rescue helicopters find me in the middle of nowhere in my local national parks. :G

Well, I am delighted to say that I have also bought a spanking new D50 with the 18-55 lens, and a Marumi skylight filter. I hope this will mark the beginning of a long journey in photography. Cheers! :|

Hello Rey, from another Bay Area native.

I, too, am curious about the sweatshirt. I'm a sweatshirt NUT and love them (although now that the weather is finally DRY and warmer I might now enjoy them as much! LOL)

Where'd you get the sweatshirt of that color yellow? Very cool.

And thanks for the awesome links, by the way!

I've had that sweatshirt for a while, before I got my Nikon. It's a regular sweatshirt I got from Foot Locker, but any sporting goods should have it. I love bright colors (especially yellow and orange) especially when I go hiking or camping, it's easier for my friends to find me when I go off-trail and I'm squat down taking a picture of some flowers and trying to get the sky as the background.

Peace.
