Hello All

After months on pondering on my first dSLR (from my dissapointing prosumer Sony V1), I managed to get myself a D70 (not D70s) second hand for the price of a D50.

Got myself a 18-35mm and and 28-105mm, plus a S800 speedgun from the same guy as well

Admittedly, I did spend a fraction more than i had too (and plus everything looks in 'working order) but I think I got myself a real bargin!

I can't wait to get out there and take some decent photo

I'd like to thank everyone on the board who had given their advise and I hope to get the most out of my Nikon

That 18-35 ED is a good lens. Let us know how you like the images it produces on the D70. I would imagine that you will get some good ones.

Congratulations, and that SB800 will be "sweet" (it's a highly rated flash system).
