Well for $100 more you can buy a new one from several dealersbut if your looking to save $100 with a refurbished one then I guess its good but you may also want to check if this is a US model or import. I'd go with a new body so I know what to expect myself but I'm sure others would go for it, not to say I'd never buy a refurbished product just not something like a DSLR body.

You also don't get a warranty on the refurbished bodies. With something as complex as an SLR, I'm sure you'll need the warranty sometime or another.

You get a 90 warranty on a Nikon Refurbished Camera. I have already shot 200 photos with the camera and it is perfect. This is not my first refurbished camera.

I've used two refurbished cameras and haven't had any trouble with either.

I really was not concerned about a Nikon factor refurb, but thanks for the concerns. I was asking if anyone had a link to a lower price.

actually buydig is a division of Beach Camera and they are an authorized Nikon dealer. So you would get the Nikon warranty. Not very long on a refurb, but still there.
