I just got my D50 a couple of days ago and I have been experimenting with it. I can see how the histogram can be useful, but generally speaking I would rather just be able to see the picture.

I realize I can press the enter button to make it go away, but is there any way that I can set that as the default? so that instead I would have to press the enter button to make it appear?

Thanks.

G'day there Silentbob,

ok I have the D50 as well and all you need to do is click your view button at the top so you can see all your pics displayed then press the historgram button till you see the pics all become either small selection or the next size up. The one after that is the historgram selection and the pics will come up with the info and as you said will also remove that info if you press enter.
Hope this helps.

Ollie
