OK. just received my Sigma 18-200mm and took a few pics of the full moon at 3AM.

F/6.3 , 1/1000, shutter priority, ISO200, 200mm focal length. It's not the best result one could get with this gear so advice is welcomed.

Ocean Park of Hong Kong. An unknown (to me), but funny bird fooling around on a bare tree. I didn't use flash, so not to scare her away. Tamron 18-200mm:

Furgus These are actually really nice shots, very clean.

zygh That's a better moon than what I've been able to capture so far.

I took these with a Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Macro.

I was using Auto mode at the time, so I am not sure which setting it was at.

Thanks for the comments.
Does everyone pretty much use photobucket to upload their photos, or is there a better free service?

Thanks

I also use ImageShack in addition to PhotoBucket, but I like PhotoBucket's layout more.

MtClimber That is a fantastic shot! Love the colors and sense of motion. Great angle as well. What lens, from your vast collection, did you use?

I also use a Tamron lens, the Tamron 28-200 XR (IF) Zoom macro. Here is one of our rooster I took. It is one of the first pictures as well wtih the Nikon D50 and the Tamron lens.
