I just bought a new D70s and SB-800. It appears the SB-800 will talk to other Speedlights (wireless) but I have not been able to figure out if it will talk to the D70 remotely.

I was hoping I could use the SB-800 forremote flash Is this possible. Have not made much sense out of the instructions.

Thanks in advance.

Rich

If you're asking whether the d70 can control the SB-800 wirelessly, then the answer is yes. The D70's flash can be used in commander mode to control either a Sb600 or 800 off camera. You will not be able to use the D70's flash and Sb800 together while the SB800 is attached to the camera.
