Well I was just wondering if the new D80 is to be sealed, environmentally, like the d200. it seems to me with the less weight and the great features derived from the d200 the d80 should be a great back-up for more higher end set-ups (boy I like using hyphens). Does anyone know how the d80 will hold up aginst the elements compared to the d200?

The D80 is not weather sealed. It is closer to entry level than pro-level, and is not designed for rugged use. That being said, I think it would make a great backup for higher end cameras
