I really like the V1, and find very intereting the possibility of using say a 55-300 AF-S lens on it with full AF to give an 800mm equivalent with the high-speed video modes for wildlife.
Of course the quality would not match a larger sensor with 600mm lens, but it's something I could afford (and carry) just for the fun factor. Any experience or links? Cheers, Craig |

Are you sure 800mm will be sufficient. How about 5400mm.

I just did a shoot with this very set-up you described. I will post what I came up with. I shot "Ice Racing" in Wisconsin where I live.
