Considering buying the Nikon D60 with both the 18-55vr and 55-200vr lenses. My son plays football and I am wondering if I will get good shots from the stands with th 55-200vr lens as I want to get action shots ofhim. This is a high school stadium . This is my first DSLR so I am not sure what the lenses will do. Thanks for your reply.

Hi,
I think you will find yourself wanting a little more reach. I had my 55-200 at a pro football game and I was pretty close to the field but still wished I had more reach. If budget allows, I would look at the 70-300 vr. If that's too much for you, the 55-200 is an excellent lens for the money. Len |

Thanks Len, I think I will stick with the 55-200 vr as I can get the D60 with 18-55vr and 55-200vr + 2g card and 2 free instructionvideos for 828.00 shipped.
