Can I use this film camera lens on my D300 Nikon slr camera,, I know I will have to use Manual focus, but can it damage my camera?

I moved this thread to our Nikon Lenses Forum for you (the add-on lenses forum is for point and shoot camera models). BTW, you can't easily see the second subject line when viewing a thread, so I'll repeat the lens type here.
If you have a pre-AI Nikkor-S 50mm lens f/1.4, you'll want to convert it to AI for use on a D300. http://www.aiconversions.com/compatibilitytable.htm |

If you look at the link in the last post I made to this thread, you'll see a link to a prices and shipping page that includes a link to an order form. It's $25 + shipping for a type A conversion from this vendor.
http://www.aiconversions.com/PricesAndShipping.htm If you dig around, you may find some articles on converting one yourself or find more vendors that do it. |
