The 28-200 isn't a bad lens, but it's not an ideal walkaround, as it is not very wide. The good news is you've the tele end covered, and you could pick up an 18-55 AF-s DX lens (the kit lens from the D50) for around $100 used. It's a decent lens, focuses fast, and is hard to beat for the price. It's not pro level, but its great for the average user.

KEH is a reliable online vendor who sells lots of used equipment at fair prices. They use a grading system, and rate the lens very conservatively...eveything I've ever bought from them is better (imo) than the rating they assigned it. BH Photo, and Adorama are two other dealers who sell used equipment reasonably as well. You could also try Ebay.
