I own the Nikon D50 along with AF-S DX18-70mm lens, AF 50mm F1.8 lens and AF 80-200mm F2.8 lens.
Which lens would you suggest for a little more reach (300mm to 400mm)? This will be mostly for still subjects. |

Fast lens: Sigma 120-300 f/2.8 EX HSM - and still excellent with a 1.4x or 2x teleconverter
![]() http://www.shutterbug.net/test_repor...gma/index.html A bit slower (but more affordable): 50-500 EX ![]() http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...mp;forum_id=65 ... and then for a steal you can also get the Sigma 100-300 f/4 EX which costs less than a 70-200 f/2.8 plus 1.4x teleconverter: http://www.sigma4less.com/sess/utn;j...0300F4HNI%3D29 -> They all have HSM which are fast/silent and with full-time manual overide (just like the AF-s). |
