Subject lense is an older model, the one without the tripod collar. It is in excellent condition and is being offered with a warranty for 700 Can (637 US - 341 UKP). Is this a fair price for this lense, it appears to be a good deal but I have insufficient experience with buying used Nikon lense to be sure. I would estimate that this lense is between 8 to 12 years old.

Oh well, no feedback, took a chance and glad I did, ended up trading some oldPentax glass on it, ended up with a good deal, and a beautiful lense, although it is taking some adjustment to the size of the beast.
