Default Pentax k mount to Nikon F mount (dx5300)

Looking for inexpensive way to use my old sigma (k mount) 70-300 lens with my nikon 5300?

The Nikon F-Mount has a flange focal distance (the distance between the lens mount and the sensor) of 46.5 mm, while the Pentax K-Mount has a flange focal distance of 45.46 mm.

I purchases an adapter through a large photo company in NYC that allows me to use my pentax K mount lenses on my Nikon D610. The adapter doesn't have contacts, so I am in complete manual mode when using the adapter.
