In that case for the OP. I'd consider the older 80-200 AF-D as well as the Sigma if he needs the length. Whether the extra 20mm at the wide angle or 50mm at the long end is most useful will depend on the primary purpose of the lens as well as his camera - as the new 50-150 is only APS-C then clearly it has been priced and positioned as the APS-C equivilant of the 70/80 - 200 on FF.
