I don't think you'll like it. I bought it, used it for two days (very heavily) and wound up returning it. It was way too soft. Way too soft.I wound up buying a 28-200 Nikon Lens which replaced my broken 28-105 Macro.THis new 28-200 is amazingly sharp above f6.7
