Hello,
Does anyone know if there is an AF teleconverter for the Nikon 50mm f/1.8 lens? Thanks, Scott |

Teleconverters are not suitable for use on 50mm focal length lenses. They are meant for telephoto focal lengths (hence the tele in the converter name).

Teleconverters for a P&S vs. a SLR are quite different. With a P&S, I think they screw onto the outside of the lens. With an SLR, they go between the lens and body. You can screw anything onto the outside, but putting something into the light path from lens to body is more complicated.
