I am a professional photographer, who has a Nikon system; I have a Nikon D70 and use all my manual lenses; I need to get one auto focus lens for sports, demonstrations or other action oriented photo job;
i don't want to spend 1,500 for a 2.8 18/55; how good is the lens; what are the negatives? so to speak; my web site is http://www.bramfoto.com ; thank you |

thanks so much for your opinion;
yes, the 17/55 sounds like a great lens, but at almost $1,500 i would be replacing my other manual lenses that i already have; and i saw new 18/70 ones for around $250 on ebay; |
