I have read in many forums that with the D100 you need to use "good glass". I am wondering how much you have to pay for "good glass" and where I can buy them used?

Hi Jim,

Any Nikon auto-focus lens will be fine on your D100, You can even use A non auto-focus lens if you wanted to. I would suggest you try to get a "D" lens of your choice. If you have a Nikon SB-28DX or SB-80DX speedlight flash the "D" lens will read the distance for TTL.

Just remember that A Nikon SB-600 or SB-800 will not work TTL on the D100. You will need a 28DX or 80DX for TTL.
