Will this work with my D50? I'm looking for a nice 85mm prime and I don't really care whether it's Auto or Manual, just that it gets down to f/1.4 and takes sharp shots with nice bokeh.

Thanks,

Joe

Thom Hogan has a compatibility chart here Lens Acronyms Explained The seller thinks it's a pre-AI lens so it won't work according to the table.

Problem with these old lenses is you can't auto focus and use the internal light meter. Manual focus is a drag because the DSLRs don't have the microprism and split prisim focus screen to assist in getting it right.
