Is there a slave triggering system that anyone can recommend? I've never used one before and am about to get some lighting set-ups through the mail. Cheap is good!:!:

Which camera do you have?
-> If it's a Nikon flash, your camera can already control it depending on the camera model (i.e. it's free!!!) How cheap can that be?

The D80 and above can trigger multiple SB600 and Sb800's wirelessly with the pop up flash. TTL is supported. The system works like a charm, and is very easy to use, and the big reason why I bought into Nikon's system. The lower end bodies don't have this ability unless you have the SB800.

That is correct. I left the D70 and D70s out because it is no longer in production and would be very difficult to find new. I was only referring to bodies currently in production.

Thank-you ALL...so don't need to buy anything else? My built in flash will fire a SB800? I truly appreciate your patience with my ignorance.

The D2Xs does not have a built-in flash though
-> That SU-800 costs as much as another flash

... You may be better off with a D300 which has a built-in-flash - It can shoot in D2X modes via several emulation profiles that you can download, unless of course you need the ruggeness of a D2X, the D300 is also easier to handle (I never like the big battery and charger)
