Well it happened to me, I still don't have a clue how but my prized lenses were stolen.

105mm 2.8 VR
Tokina 12-24 F4
70-300 kit lens

all gone, only thing left is my 50mm

I am very sad as I worked over 1 year to buy these lenses to build my collection and now they are gone. I cant afford to start over so everything I shoot has to be in range of the 50 or its no shot

just wanted to vent

So sorry v12 about your loss. Is there any way you can claim this on your homeowners or other insurance policies?

V12,

I had my camera stolen while on vacation. My home owner's insurance paid off less the deductable for the camera. I was more fortunate than you... the thief took OFF my 70 to 200 f2.8 Nikkor lens and left it in the camera bag and took the Nikon 200 body. I paid more for the lens than the body.....I think it was just because it was so big that he/she left it.

I wish you luck with your ordeal.

Cheers,
Bill
