I have a D60, and am buying a D90 soon and am wondering if there is any advantage in buying AFS lenses, besides the obvious one of it will auto focus with the D60.

Are AFS faster or slower to focus?

Do AFS lenses focus better?

Not sure if they focus better but they do focus quicker.

For me it would depend on price, if I made a big saving for the same quality lens I'd buy non AFS but if the AFS lens was a similar price I'd go for that.
