I'll throw in another vote for the Sigma 150mm. I only got this lens a few days ago but so far I'm very impressed with it.



I also have a Tamron 90mm. It is capable of producing excellent image quality and is good value for money when compared to its peers.

Here is one more vote for the Sigma 150mm f2.8. I have had this lens for several years and it is fantastic for the money.

You don't need a macro for Banana Spider pics, those things are HUGE! Nice shot.

This is one of my Eight hairy friends. Not for the arachnophobic though, she is fairly docile until feeding time then like me she gets really excited.
