Default Nikkor 18-35MM F/3.5-4.5 ED-IF

i've searched and i can't find the info i'm looking for :shock: . so i'm coming to you and asking :lol: . does this lense have full time manual focus? thanks for your input

No, this lens does not have a manual switch to disable the autofocus.

thanks ! i had already purchased it and i love it! it's a GREAT bang-for-the-buck lens with ED glass and it's plenty fast too!

An alternative that I'm getting is the new Tamron 17-35 2.8. Faster with slightly more width. Will let you know how it works!

Some Nikon lenses come with an auto-manual switch, some don't. You can always switch to maual on the D100 body....

Just got back from a cruise- shot many sunrises with D-100 in manual focus mode- they came out great. I Love this camera and this lense.

Default I'm looking at the 18-35 right now

Definitely let us know about the Tamron. I'm looking at that lens as well.
