Fantastic lens.
Re-read your third sentence in the first post, thus my reference to to 150-300.

Congratulations on your trade. I am sure you will like it as it is a great lens. Now that you have created the 70-300 gap with the trade, any plans/thoughts on filling it? Perhaps a couple of primes?

Well, DUH, your right and I corrected it.
Thanks for the heads up...

Actually, that is only a 70-150 gap, not 70-300 gap.

For now, since I'm out of cash, (don't use credit) since I got the Nikon D3 & Sigma lens, (to the tune of almost $4 grand) I will use my Kenko 1.4 300 pro to take up some of that gap. Hopefully within a month or two, I'll get another zoom in that range for the DX and/or a couple primes for the D3

What I'd really like is the older 80-200mm f/2.8 to take up that 70-150 gap.
I'll have to save up for it.
