Default My Nikon Lens Power Trio

Even though I have several Nikon lenses, I am now so pleased that I have what I consider to be my "Three Lens Powerhouse" trio for my exterior fashion photo shoots. I am using the Nikon 85 f/1.8G the Nikon DC 135 f/2.0 (just purchased) and the incredibly sharp Nikon AF-D 180mm f/2.8 which I just purchased new today to replace my other 180mm Nikon lens. I like having 2 of them...

A fine set of "sharp" lenses there....
How do you find the defocus control on the 135..? Does it make a great deal of difference..?

Beautiful shot Benjamin, the 135mm f2 is a lens I would love to have soon.

Thank you for posting.

Ben Nice to know what your staple set of glass is.. looking to get the 85mm f.18G and the 50mm f1.8G hopefully soon. Whats your opinion on the 180F2.8 ?

Harj,

Nice to know you are with Nikon now..!!

The 180mm f2.8 is a very sharp lens, sharper than the 70-200mm f2.8, and very affordable also.

Hey Marcelo Haven't switched just yet .. I had been planning to do the move a couple of years ago but it looks like now is the right time. I hadn't noticed that there was a 180F2.8 and if it was any good... ive had my eye on the 300F4 PF (now what a cracking small lens that looks to be). Harj
