I'mcompletely new to digital cameras and am thinking of buying the Nikon D70, but want to genup on things a bit before actually going to the shop with my plastic!

I've read thatNikon have recently developed some lenses especially for digital SLR cameras, but that there's a 1.5x focal length factor to be taken into account.I'm assuming that this doesn't apply to thenew lenses; can anyone tell me if that assumption is correct please?

Many thanks!

The 1.5 factor still apply to the new DX lens. So you have to multiply by 1.5 to get the equivalent number.
