I have a couple of series E lenses that I bought for a Nikon FG many years ago. Does anyone know if they will work on any of the dSLR bodies?

I'm not 100% sure about this but i'd say that Series E lenses wont work well with new DSLR:s,
biggest problem is that the old lenses don't have matrix chips that are required to enable metering.
So you can use old lenses but with very limited functionality.

Thanks, Shred. I had my doubts but thought it was worth asking.
