When adding the Nikon TC-17EII teleconverter lens it will have a minimal 1.5 f-stop effect on the Nikon AF-S VR 70-200mm F2.8D ED-IF lens. How much is 1.5 f-stop of F2.8?

Anyone try this combo on the Nikon D50?

Mine actually shows F/4.8 when used with the 70-200VR on my D70.
