Default Nikon Coolpix 5400 Sample, need pro opinion

first, http://bermangraphics.com/coolpix/5400/5400.htm

Second, http://digitalcamera.impress.co.jp/03_07/toku2/

In my newbie opinion.
5400 has better colors, but is soft has less contrast and , G5 is sharper and less noisy, however, chromatic aberration is still high.

5400's noise kind of scares me  , pictures seem off fucus (badly)! :? and I don't believe they repeat the same mistakes

Maybe the focus does not work well!!!

Need your opinion

Default Check these side by side shots

The text is Japanese.

The 5400 shots are pretty impressive, as are the G5

I am just an amatuer but that noise/focus does not look good at all, maybe there is something wrong with the camera? My 5400 has not yet arrived but if it has some fundemental design floors then I am cancelling the order and going with a 5700, the Olym 5050 looks like a very high quality camera as well.

Any advise out there?

I think that you are better off with the Olympus C5050Z myself.

The reason I went with the 5400 was because a number of the reviews said the 5050Z had excessive Chromatic Abberations and higher then normal noise??, but I would rather have that then poor photo quality, at least I can somewhat control CA's and noise where as focus/photo quality is something I can do nothing about. I am maybe wondering if the 5400's are still pre-production and that is the reason for the unacceptable results? I am starting to think I have made a mistake in selecting the 5400 over maybe the 5700 or 5050z though.
