Have read great reviews - only one states the flash recycle time is very slow - wondering if anyone is usine this camera and how fast it is between shots??

I tried my P4 and it's about 4-5secs. A lot less time than it took me to pull out a flashbulb and replace it in the Dark Ages ! It's a good little camera and can produce quite remarkable results in good light. Dull days are not so great, but the flash shots are well focused and bright. The time issue shouldn't put you off as this is a camera that is competitively priced (very !), compact and easy to use. It's weakness, in my opinion, is the lack of a viewfinder. The LCD screen image is a wash out in bright sun.

And it fits in my pocket when my other big guys don't get to come.

I jinxed myself ! Shot 64 pics today with the P4 and only 11 will copy to the computer. Tried on my laptop and used different editing programs, but no change. So it's either a bad memory card or the P4. The shots I did get were reaaly good. So now I'm not so sure it IS a great camera !

Jan 17..I should post this, to be fair. I re formatted the memory card and tried again and no problem. I have never made a habit of doing this, but will in future ! So it's still a great camera !
