Raynox has some close up lenses for the 5700:
http://www.raynox.co.jp/english/digital/egnikon5700.htm

The following page has discussions about close-up lenses for the 5700. The magnification calculation is not done exactly using the sensor size. Instead I used the size reported in every camera manual, which is larger than the actual sensor size; however, the calculated magnification is not very far away from the true one. In close-up photography, 1.5X and 1.7X are not very different.

The reverse lens technique is discussed on the "TC-E2 for Close-Up" page, located in the "Odd Stuffs" section near the bottom of my 4500 user guide. The "It All Starts with Thread Size and Rings" page in the Filters section also lists various useful rings for this technique.

The 5700 can also use Raynox MSN-500 designed for the 9xx and 4500 cameras. Here is the discussion:

I hope you're referring to a macro attachment lens that fits over the end of your current lens barrel via a nextphoto adapter. if this is the case, I'd highly recommend the SIGMA macro lens. The one I'm using is something I've had since for some time and has the standard NIKON 52mm threads meant for nikon lenses. I've managed to recycle a lot of my old filters and 52mm attachments. In any case, with the SIGMA macro lens, you can shoot as close as 3" from the subject.
