Hi I am new to the Nikon P90 and have loved reading through the posts here and seeing all the beautiful pictures this camera is capable of. I was really skeptical after some of the negative reviews but decided that despite that, there was a lot to love about this camera. A lot of problems come from lack of knowledge and I believe that was the case with a large portion of those reviews. After much contemplation I decided to take the plunge. I've only had it a short time but have loved the pictures thus far. I am excited to learn and get some awesome shots. I look forward to learning from all of you and sharing your wonderful pictures and tips!

jgalang-

Those photo are nice. But they could have looked even better if you has set the WB to tungsten/incandescent. That would get rid of the yellowish/golden haze.

I've briefly flipped through the manual but really need to sit down and go over everything. I have been pleased so far but I've got a long way to go! I'll be reading a lot here for certain, I need all the help I can get. I have been having a lot of fun trying to figure things out though. I hope to learn to take advantage of all it's capabilities and get some awesome shots. There are just so many settings and knowing when to apply which is perplexing at the moment...
