Very nice pics, ashwin, what a colorful land you live in, so many good chances of taking great pictures in a wedding there! Looks like you got the hang of contrast too.

Defocusing everybody but the lovely couple is a good idea. They look too blurry to me though. It's only natural to overuse these fx the first times.

Sarah, I never meant to offend/bash you or your skills. It was just an opinion about a picture. No big deal.

Thanks a lot, Squalo-

I accept your apology and feel that we can put this behind us and move on with helping each other. Your comments to Ashwin were perfect, to the point, but not judgmental. Great!

Have a nice day.

The Nikon P-90 performs better when shoot in the "P" (Programed Auto) Mode. Also when shooting skyward, it is wise to crank in some -Exposure Compensation, so you viewer can see blue skies in place of a white blob.

Thanks for posting. Have a great day.

Hi Sarah Joyce,

Thanks for this helpful tip!! Nop I shoot in P mode but im still learning how to use it properly..

Thanks to your tip i have been able to correct the exposure. I have attached 2 pictures to show you. I went for a trip in the south of Mauritius today and has taken loads of pics. will try to upload them during the week.

still cant get my hands on one of these to try , nearest big camera shop is 30+miles away , being school holidays kids dont want to be dragged round town.
can some tell me what the auto bracketing is like , does it go from +/-1EV or will it allow +/-2EV , i know you can manually set the EV levels for each shot but can you set them up to do all 3 in one go ?

asking this as i have heard you can , and would like someone to confirm because i am trying my hand at HDR images... badly at the mo , but have a few nice ones

regards
Marcus

+/- 1ev is all it will do at 1 time.

Marcus-

Are you now leaning toward the Nikon P-90 camera?
