A quick google search comes up with this which covers everything and is produced by a very competent photographer http://www.alaskaphotographics.com/h...n_lights.shtml

Let us know how you get on.

Hi, I'm very new in photographic and just bought a P90. A very nice camera that I can do a lot of experiment. This are some shots of sunrise that I manage to captured from my backyard.

csvikraant-

Welcome to the Forum and the Folder. We delighted that you joined us.

Your posted photo is very nice, but somewhat over exposed by a small amount. As you can see in the photo, there is a small loss of fine detain in the flower. This can be corrected by using small amount of Exposure Compensation. When over exposure takes place, the detail is totally lost can cannot be brought out in the photo.

Using EV-0.3 to -0.7 would have preserved the details. Have a great day.

Hi and welcome Marcellaphoto, can you post some examples so we can see what is going on. I'm guess you are trying to shoot in low light conditions and it is a problem of physics and not the camera.
