Default Nikon Wide Converter WC-E68 and Using Filters

I have been using a Wide Converter WC-E68 with a Nikon Coolpix 5000. Quite often I would like to use it with a circular polarizer. I canít seem to figure out any way to do this. Any suggestions?

The WC-E68 has no filter thread and hence does not accept filter directly. Nextphotohas a E68 filter adapter http://www.nextphoto.net/5000.htmthat provides a 82mm thread. The reason to have such a large thread is that when the WC-E68 is on a 5000, the combo has a 35mm equivalent focal length of 19mm that requires a large angle of view. I have a WC-E68 filter adapter on eBay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVWwhich you might be interested. Keep in mind that you have to use slim or very thin polarizer to minimize vignetting. Yes, vignetting is always there. However, thin or very thin polarizer can reduce the corner vignetting to a very tiny triangle that can easily be cropped out.
