Default US Nikon 5700 to the Netherlands

Hia all.

I am from the Netherlands , want to buy a Nikon 5700. In US , it is much cheaper , upto 30% :P
Are these camera's (almost) completely the same as European models. I mean non-refurbished , new models.
Any site/shop someone advises me , shipping them to Europe ?

Tx

You face two problems when purchasing a camera from the US.
1. Your country will require you to pay import duties which will drive the price of the camera near the price you would pay in your own country.
2. US camera warranty will not be honored in other countries.

Default Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..........................

I'm living in Belgium.

I ordered 2 CF cards from USA.

I paid %21 tax (TVA), plus %5 charges to DHL.

But it was still cheap than here.

BUTTTTTTTTT........................

I ordered a Canon A70 but I never received it. It's being 5 months I'm still waiting for my money......
(!!!"""&&&???@@@%%% - best wishes to the company)

Now I have a NIKON CP4300 and happy with it, from Belgium for a very good price.....

Be carefull.

You have 2 years warranty in Europe.

If you order from USA and if something happens to the cam forget it at least for 8 months.................

Good luck.....

I bought last weekend a refurbished 5700 and had it shipped to the Netherlands by UPS. It arrived on Wednesday. I'm probably lucky because I didn't need to pay any taxes.

I bought it at the b&h photo used department.
